I’m Fine and a Mess

A Memoir of Living Better with High-Functioning Anxiety
Jonathan Bailor
Forthcoming from Post Hill Press.

A memoir about the anxiety behind a capable father’s life and what changes when he begins asking for help.

Author biography

Jonathan Bailor is the New York Times bestselling author of The Calorie Myth and the author of The Setpoint Diet and The Smarter Science of Slim. He spent a decade at Microsoft and is named as an inventor on twenty-eight issued U.S. patents. He then founded SANE Solution, a wellness company he has led as CEO for more than a decade. I’m Fine and a Mess is his first memoir, about the anxiety he hid for thirty-six years and what his wife and daughters could see before he could admit it. The book follows fatherhood, marriage, therapy, medication, and the cost of looking like he had everything handled. He lives outside Portland, in Washington, with his wife Angela and their three daughters.
